#Design Philosophy

Every slide needs a visual element -- text-only slides are forgettable.

Before starting:

  • Pick a bold, content-informed color palette specific to the topic
  • Use dominance over equality (one color at 60-70% weight)
  • Commit to a visual motif and repeat it across every slide

Layout options: Two-column, icon + text rows, 2x2 grids, half-bleed images with content overlay

Typography: Choose interesting font pairings (never default to Arial). Header font with personality, clean body font.

#What to Avoid

  • Repeating the same layout across slides
  • Centering body text (left-align paragraphs, center only titles)
  • Default blue color schemes
  • Text-only slides without images, icons, or charts
  • Accent lines under titles (hallmark of AI-generated slides)

#Mandatory QA Process

  1. Content QA: Extract text and verify completeness
  2. Visual QA: Convert to images and inspect with fresh eyes (sub-agents recommended)
  3. Fix and re-verify: One fix often creates another problem
  4. Do not declare success until at least one fix-and-verify cycle is complete
